DescriptionTwo sheets of an incomplete triptych: 00.1084 (R), 00.1086 (L)

Title on 00.1806. The design is a continuation, to the right, of the triptych A Chinese-style Boating Party (Junkan funa-asobi), MFA 11.21389-91 and 11.36650a-c. Marks gives the publisher of this triptych as Sumiyoshiya Masagorô, the same as the "Boating Party" triptych, but the mark on the two MFA sheets is definitely Wakasaya; so either the complete hexaptych was originally co-produced by two publishers, or this is a second edition from somewhat worn blocks.
