Description(Boston: S.E. Cassino, 1882) 32.5 cm; 156 pp., plus 13 plates [pl. IX lacking]; original publisher's black- and gilt-stamped red cloth.

Apparently another edition of this title was published the same year also in Boston by Estes & Lauriat. There is no indication of the lithographic printer.

The MFA owns a number of watercolors by Sprague for his publications on flowers, along with several individual proofs of the chromolithographed illustrations.
