DescriptionBed cover or hanging of plain-weave cotton with kalamkari ("pen work") design in main field, in various shades of red and blue on a natural ground, of central floral medallion with procession of beasts, four cone-shaped motifs in each corner enclosing flowers and paired beasts, Tree of Life growing from sacred rocky outcrop at each crosswise end from which flowering branches intertwine and fill the entire field, and pairs of deer along the edge of each of four sides; border on four sides with scrolling floral vine in various shades of red and pink on a blue ground.
