DescriptionA rectangular piece of white cotton with warp fringe at top and bottom and polychrome silk warp stripes woven in on either side. On the field are two pairs of roughly rectangular motives meeting at the center and densely embroidered in red silk with green silk highlights each with a section of warp-wrapping, in polychrome silk yarns, giving the apperance of split tapestry technique. Slightly soiled.
