Bible cover made from pieces of crewelwork embroidery; spine at center made from two pieces of pink, green, and brown diamond motifs in Irish stitch (or Florentine, bargello, Hungarian, or flame stitch) and two pieces cross-stitched in blue with white inscription “HOLY BIBLE” and “Aaron/Chew/his book/may 4, 1797”; sides also embroidered in Irish stitch in diamond pattern in yellows, reds, blues, and greens; brown wool flaps embroidered pink and green floral motifs
