DescriptionGround: cream colored linen. Design: bands of conventionalized floral ornament at neck and bottom of sleeves, the pattern left in linen, the ground worked in cross stitch with crimson silk; a section of drawn-work across shoulders worked with cream colored linen thread at top of each sleeve points and zig-zags of rope stitch on shirring; on each sleeve a lamb (Agnus Dei) worked in knotted cable stitch (?) with crimson silk. Variety of other stitches used for outlines, seams, etc. Coarse bobbin lace at neck and wrists. Badly torn and stained.
