Decorative band woven into cotton cloth (with fine cotton warp covering heavier cotton weft). Warp: cotton 7 to cm., formed by several strands bound together by tapestry weft. Weft: wool. Design: three horizontal stripes, the outer ones divided into vertically with geometric pattern woven with dark neutral violet, reddish violet, green, and yellow. The middle strip woven with same colors in zig-zag pattern. Design defined by pronounced slits.
