Border fragment, probably from a furnishing fabric, embroidered with open diagonally placed squares, dividing the linen into diamonds. In each diamond is an open square with four groups of pairs of elongated diamonds ending in scrolls, done with laidwork. Eyelet holes and picots are used also. On two sides is a knotted fringe.
