DescriptionOn the lid a triumphal procession, moving from left to right, consisting of an elaborate wagon having seated figures behind whom an angel hovers. Smoking urns are placed before these figures. The wagon is surrounded by footmen and drawn by several caparisoned horses. The side panels bear naturalistic friut and floral groupings. Polychrome silk and metallic yarns. Metallic tape with a repeating lozenge motif edging each panel. Badly worn in spots, some missing yarns.
