DescriptionSeventeen carved ivory blades. Guards decorated with gilt-silver, and studded with cut and cabochon almandine garnets, Ural River pearls, turquoise. Two white silk connecting ribbons. Mother-of-pearl rings on rivet. Believed to have belonged to a Grand Duchess. Said to have come from Tsarkoji-Sélo (Czar's summer palace).
