DescriptionFigurine of bull from Northwestern Iran, Caspian coastal area. Groups of small bronze stags and bulls, pierced for suspension, have been found in tombs, where they appear to have been hung from men's belts. Their exact meaning is unknown, but it is likely that they were gifts to the dead.
