DescriptionRobert-Dumesnil (catalogue no.36) describes the portrait of Charibert I as having the inscription "CHEREBERT REX FRANC. VIII."; this print has the inscription "CHEREBERT REX FRANCORUM". The monogram is a backwards "C" intertwined with an "L", different from the two intertwined C's of the Monogrammist C.C.
