DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined. The bowl is straight sided. The base is rounded, and the rim is carinated. It is broken into one large body fragment and two smaller fragments. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
