Cylindrical shape, with spreading gadrooned base, median molded band, gadrooned domed, ajoué top. Two clamps attached to molded rim. Ballister: knop finial.

Markings

On the side of the caster, maker's mark FA (Grimwade 662); Britannia; lion's head erased; date letter c (1698/9). Repeated on the cover, maker's mark; lion's head erased.
