This is a small, hand axe with a narrow, curved end, tapering to a rounded edge. The dark gray stone has small greenish inclusions. One side is very worn.
From Kerma, N of Tell 2 on surface. 1913: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
