DescriptionCeremonial cover or woman's head covering of white plain-weave cotton with design in main field of repeating staggered rows of interlocking triangular lozenge embroidered in red silk satin stitch and accented with small green "leaf" motif at the apex of each triangle (phulkari work); crosswise border at each end with design of band interlocking triangles embroidered in red silk; constructed of four panels stitched together lengthwise.
