Rectangular violet-red and metallic gold silk cloth with overall repeating design of stylized floral shapes and wings of the mythological bird, “garuda,” in red, green, blue, orange and natural white created by the weft ikat technique and accented with metallic gold floral. There is a wide central crosswise band of repeating, interlocking triangles (tumpal motif) and narrow lengthwise borders created by supplemental metallic gold threads.
