DescriptionNatural cotton ground embroidered with very fine yellow-green, pinkish red and blue silk yarns in fine satin stitch. In the center, YHS in a sunburst within an eight pointed star. Surrounding this, an inscription arranged as a square border: IHESU NOSTRA REDEMTIO AMORE DESIDERIUM. Stars and conventional blossoms fill the ground and narrow outer border. Cotton browned. A few small brown stains. A number of small holes, darned, and patches. A seam across entire width, at center.
