Circular medal of Charles Louis Napoléon Bonaparte (1808-1873), later called Napoléon III.

Obverse: Profile bust of Charles Louis Napoléon Bonaparte looking to proper right, wearing laureate wreath; inscribed at edge “NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR”.

Reverse: Beaded rim. Two-headed eagle with shield, holding a sword in right talon and orb in left.
