DescriptionEcclesiastical Costume. Sides of unpatterned crimson velvet. Orphrey; front, an unidentifiable saint and St. Clare. Back, Jesus (?), St. Francis of Assisi and St. James the Great (?). Each in rectangular compartments with an arch, beneath a symmetrical stylized leaf spray in a vase, with reticular and scale pattern backgrounds. Compartments of yellow silk and metallic yarns, figures of polychrome silk and metallic yarns. Top figures front and back severely worn, other figures badly worn in some areas. See 38.765.
