Chasuble. Sides: green silk damask with a highly stylized palmate leaf groupings and fleur-de-lis forms repeating in dense staggered rows within ogival compartments of speckled bands which pass through crowns to either side and above and below half of the 16th century. Orphrey, maroon silk damask with an assymetrical motif of a stylized branch bearing two blossoms and a pomegranate repeating in staggered rows; Italy, late 16th, early 17th century. Metallic tape along entire inner edge, neck opening and ophrey. Condition good.
