Child’s long cape of light tan fine wool twill, high round neck with short turned back collar, deep yoke flaring over shoulders, below yoke a deep flounce or secondary cape of same material, edges finished with lines of narrow purple silk cord braid couched down with pink silk, above and between these lines small floral sprigs embroidered with polychrome silks, lined with bright pink china silk, quilted through wool fleece padding, two slits for arms, tied at neck with pink, green, and cream silk cord with matching tassels; a number of small moth holes.
