Christening cap. Horizontal bands of white lace radiate from small lattice-patterned openwork circle at back. Face edge surrounded by series of looped white silk satin ribbons and three overlappping ruffles of lace. Fastens under chin with two white silk satin ribbons. Worn by Prince Constantin Belosselsky-Belozersky . (Cf. 48.1239-44).
