DescriptionOne of a set of twenty-nine shaped circular dinner plates, with a shallow depression and a molded rim. The borders are engraved with a German coat-of-arms and a Princely coronet.
InscriptionsMaker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, FTG, a fleece (Dennis, 162).Warden's Mark: 1761-1762: a crowned X (Dennis, 75). Charge Mark: for large wo rk, 1756-1762: a crowned A (Dennis, 160). Other: Countermark used after 1838: parts of insects (Rosenberg, 5929); a small rectangle, possibly two.
