Obverse: Radiate, draped bust of Gordian III to right. Shield with Gorgoneion, and spear at right shoulder..
Inscription in Greek.
Reverse: At left, Artemis, radiate, in long chiton with quiver over shoulder, holds lighted torch in left hand, and drops incense on altar with right. At right, Athena, helmeted, with long chiton and aegis holds spear in left hand and drops incense on altar with right hand. Shield at left side.
Inscriptions in Greek around and in exergue.
