Obverse: Draped bust of Julia Domna to right.
Inscription in Greek.
Reverse: Statue of Tyche standing within tetrastyle temple. She holds a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left. In pediment, pellet.
Inscriptions in Greek around and in exergue.


Acquired in the division of coins following the excavations at Assos. Some coins in the group were said to have been "purchased from natives of the surrounding district." No specific findspot is known for this coin. 1884: gift of the Archaeological Institute of America to the Museum of Fine Arts
