DescriptionThe stone is colored white and gray and specked with black. It is heavy and shallow. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
