DescriptionThe stone is colored gray and black speckled. The base is rounded, and the rim is plain. A fragment of the rim is separate from the dish. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Menkaura Valley Temple, Giza. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
