DescriptionThis shallow vessel of gray-veined white stone is inscribed with the Horus name of Khaba. The base is rounded, and the rim is plain. It has been broken and mended, and some fragments are missing, including the upper portion of the king's name.
ProvenanceFrom Zawyet el-Aryan, Z 500. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1911: assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
