Cover. Field: medallion consisting of long stemmed multi-blossomed flowers radiating from a central blossom rosette. In each corner a vase containing a lush floral spray. Perched birds repeat on the medallion and the sprays. Polychrome floss silk yarns on a moire silk ground. Border: repeating flower and blossom motif encompassed by a meandering stem. Scalloped edge with floral motives. Polychrome floss silk yarns on a silk gauze ground (buratto). Field reworked in spots; border extensively reworked. Good condition.
