DescriptionCover. Red velvet ground. A simple flaming sun cradled in the curve of a crescent moon, worked entirely in gold colored metal strips, repeats in rows of five and six alternately; six rows in all. Bordered by a simplified small scale version of this motive repeating on either side of an undulating line; same materials. Coarse white cotton yarns appear where metal strips are missing; ground slightly worn; lined.
