DescriptionAlabaster, disc cover with knob on under side, ancient break bordered by two pairs of holes for mending with wire or thong, chip from edge missing.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, Southern cemetery, KIII, grave KIII St.4(3). 1920: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
