DescriptionPair of two handled vases with covers. Blue ground, flaring tops, each with two cartouche shaped reserves, one reserve of each decorated with a figure: Diana of the Hunt (65.2173) and female figure (65.2174). The other of each with colorful birds in a rural habitat. Two small reserves on each of top are decorated with insects. All painting on white ground enclosed by gilt leafage and scroll work. Rustic handles flanked by flowers in relief. Covered with flower finials.
