DescriptionCover or hanging. The field is divided into fifteen vertical columns. At the base and top of each column is a symmetrical stylized floral spray; the space in between these is divided into short horizontal compartments, one above the other. Alternately appearing in these compartments are a central lozenge motif and floral motif. The vertical bands delineating each column bear a repeating motif of a pair of addorsed quail (?) and a group of stylized blossoms with stalks. White cotton and red silk warp plus purple, yellow and green cotton and metallic weft yarns. Condition good. One major repair in the form of a seam. See Notes on collection.
