DescriptionHeavy white cotton, on the mainfield and in the wide border are embroidered sprays and bunches of flowers. The narrow inner border has a design of open flowers with sprays of flowers in profile between them, (set obliquely). The outer border has large open flowers with sepals that look starfish alternating with flowers (?) in profile. Worked with much red, pinkish violet, yellow, bright blue, bright green, light brown silk and a variety of stitches. Only part of this piece is shown in the photograph.
