DescriptionThe raised circular bowl rests on a cast gadrooned foot. The lower half of the body is chased with spiraling fluting and punched with semicircles, fleur-de-lys, and acorns. The slightly domed cover, formed from sheet, has a molded rim and a band of chased gadrooning around the rim. Surrounding the gadrooned baluster finial is a chased design of spiral fluting and punching. The finial has been reattached, and three are file marks on the rim. The shadow of a removed coat of arms is visible on the rim.
