Elliptical, slight flute at corners, flat unglazed bottom, curving sides; twined gilded flat handles, foliage on body at ends. Shaped domed cover, gilded cone finial. “Nankeen” border, “Canton” center in orange.

Northeast Auctions description: Painted in a version of the “Willow” pattern, with a view of a Chinese figure holding a parasol and crossing a bridge and a fisherman poling a sampan nearby, within trellis diaper borders edged with spearheads and dumbbells, the cover with gilt pinecone knop.
