Creampot has a shaped elliptical body with high drawn spout and applied everted rim. High curved hollow handle affixed at top and middle of body; has applied reverse scroll on top and slight up-curve at bottom joining. Body set on raised molded base of conforming shape with applied seamed vertical rim.
Dent in base, some slight dents.
"K" in script on bottom of base
"Cary " in rectangle twice on bottom.

Donor claimed piece was given to her great-great-grandfather upon his retirement in 1835 from the post of Sergeant-at-arms of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. However, this post was not created until 1835, and the identity of donor's great-great-grandfather has not been determined
