Natural linen tabby-woven ground, embroidered with thick floss silks in cross stitch giving a strong relief effect. Ornaments arranged in stripes, showing alternating conventionalized trees and plant forms, of different sizes, in shades of red and green. Soiled, stained and patched. Linen browned. tape and metal rings sewn along top.
