DescriptionSilver cylinder sheath with small traces of gilding (now mounted on modern silver cylinders) in two parts: top part with repoussé and engraved decorations, lower part with engraved decorations including cartouche of Senkamaniskeñ; fragmentary, many parts missing. Bottom with engraved rosette reserved. See also 21.11744.
ProvenanceFrom Nuri, Pyramid 3 (tomb of Senkamanisken). 1917: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
