DescriptionThe stone is fine-grained and wavy-lined. It was drilled with a cylindrical drill. The base is flat, and the rim is plain. A small rim fragment is no longer attached to the beaker. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple. Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
