Table-top desk with trestle base. Top has rounded edges and corners with exposed pegs; extends beyond legs. Single row of 3 shallow drawers runs between legs, below top. Stretcher below drawer. Legs consist of curved t-shaped support above, diverging into 2 feet at base. Feet terminate in point. Lower stretcher intersects where legs widen into feet.
Each drawer fitted with a wooden pull; center drawer has removable pen tray.

Drawers numbered in graphite on bottom 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
History of ownership: 1976 or 1977, acquired from the maker by the Philip A. Hunt Chemical Corporation, Palisades Park, New Jersey, in honor of the donor upon his retirement as president of the company; subsequently inherited by the donor; 1982, gift of John R. Bonniwell, Montclair, New Jersey (Accession Date January 12, 1983)
