DescriptionSet of Five Dessert Stands (65.2292a-b-65.2296a-b). Wrought silver, with faceted glass. Coroneted rim liners: stands have four foliated legs supporting an ajouré gallery. Four curved brackets with a boss in the center join the legs and support the glass liner. The rim of the silver frame is a pierced gallery with husks along the lower edge.
Marks Along the pierced rim, maker's mark IW over IP with pellets between both (Grimwade 3272); lion passant; leopard's head crowned; sovereign's head; date letter s (1793/4).
