Painted in predominantly yellow, manganese, blue and green tones, the centre with Liberty on a pedestal inscribed “A La Liberté” and the date 1795 flanked by two soldiers on either side and two columns draped with floral garlands, the wide border painted with playing-cards depicting figures and inscribed Liberté, Courage, Égalité, Justice, Espérance, Force and others, on a green ground.
