Outlines printed in black; design painted in shades of red, blue and ochre. Main field shows large palmetto rising from stony hillock flanked by pairs of lions and peacocks holding cobras in their bills. Between palmetto and triple floral vine border, spaces filled with blossoming vines, birds and squirrels. One small cartouche with inscription on either side of tree point. Above, a red mask in sunburst. Cotton browned. Several very small holes, some darned. Lining bordered with later chintz.
