DescriptionGround, thin cream-white linen. Design bands of elongated hexagons composed of small drawn-work squares worked with cream-white silk alternating with bands of linen with diamond lattice framing star rosettes worked in satin stitch with cream-white silk separated by narrow bands of drawn-work, the whole surrounded by a border of similar hexagons on a smaller scale. Worn and darned, pieced at one end.
