Dress, in two parts; (a) printed cotton polonaise, cream colored background with all-over small-scale finely drawn fantastic floral design; printed in gray, black, and white; high round neck, buttoned down two thirds front length with black velvet covered buttons, long bell shaped sleeves, neck and sleeves, and skirt edges finished with net edged white pleated organdy ruffles, skirt draped in two deep loops, shorter in front, black velvet bows at hipline; (b) skirt of white cotton cambric, quite straight in front with much fullness gathered into waistband at back, skirt longer at back than in front, bottom of skirt trimmed with bands of eyelet embroidery Valenciennes lace, and narrow tucking, sheer white linen ruffle around bottom edge.
