DescriptionDress in two parts, of dark brownish-red figured satin in tulip design. fitted bodice, buttoned down center front, with square cut neckline, tab peplum in back, three-quarter length sleeves, turned back collar in front, and part of cuffs of brocade on pink ground simulating eighteenth century French waistcoat embroidery, rest of cuff, gathered, modesty and back of collar of pale pink striped sheer silk, on inner waistband woven label: Worth Paris; (b) skirt draped across front and tied at left front, large butterfly bustle in back, short train, front skirt panel of same brocade as trimming on bodice; worn by Mrs. Montgomery Sears.
