DescriptionCafé au lait taffeta; fitted bodice (a) with high, round neck and long sleeves; buttoned down front with light gray-blue silk buttons; sleeves and upper bodice trimmed with broad bands of latticework made of narrow folds of light gray satin (forming yoke line on upper bodice); ruffles of bobbin appliqué lace on sleeves and around yoke line; skirt (b) untrimmed with greatest fullness at back forming a train; watch pocket left center front at belt line; large pocket in right front seam; peplum (c) on belt, of taffeta with pleats of satin; belt bound with satin; sleeves and skirt lined with glazed muslin; bodice lined with linen; peplum lined with buckram.
