DescriptionBed cover or hanging with dark blue silk ground over cotton embroidered with polychrome silk yarns wit design in central field of battle of foot soldiers armed with rifles and cannons (above) and battle of horsemen (below); outer border filled with hunting scenes and floral landscape and in the corners, a double-headed eagle, lion rampart, mythical horned beast and European figure; fringe on four sides of pink, green, yellow and white silk.
